Numerous studies have demonstrated that the Peak Internal Air Temperature (PIAT) gives a good indication of whether or not a polyethylene (PE) rotomoulded part is correctly cured, i.e. whether or not it has received sufficient heat to melt and fuse the material correctly. Our products such as K-PAQ and K-KONTROL will provide a complete trace of Internal Air Temperature throughout the rotomoulding cycle.
These systems can provide invaluable information and their use is encouraged. However, for simple quality control checks, and a low investment solution in temperature monitoring K-LABEL will do the job simply. We have two types of K-LABEL: the Basic and the Advanced. The Basic comes with 3 temperature indicators giving a GO/NO GO sign. The Advanced comes with 8 temperature indicators providing a much more accurate temperature indication.
