"Improved
quality and less scrap," has convinced leading machine
manufacturer Alan Yorke Engineering to incorporate K-Kontrol into their new
Real Time Proess Control (RTPC) Machines. Alan Yorke Engineering has invested over £100K in technology, assisted by a
DTI/SMART grant to provide a platform for future investment. Managing Director, Craig Yorke
said: "We are delighted to be working with 493K. K-Kontrol
can be fully integrated with our new control software. After extensive testing our RTPC will produce significant benefits for the rotomoulder: faster cycle times, reduced gas usage and improved quality."

493K Limited is talking Italian. 493K has appointed Aeroplastik S.p.A. as distributors for K-Paq™ and K-Kontrol™ products throughout Italy. Aeroplastik will retrofit K-Kontrol™ to operational rotomoulding machines in Italy, they will also supply K-Paq, a portable temperature and pressure monitor for moulds. 493K's Managing Director, Gareth McDowell said: "Walter Bonazzi, Aeroplastik's Sales Manager, brings extensive rotomoulding experience to the supply of K-Paq and K-Kontrol. Aeroplastik's range in the Italian marketplace puts us in the front line of rotomoulding support, and it will ensure 493K's customers receive an effective and complete technical service."  Günter
Hertel
has been appointed by 493K
as its agent in Germany. A native of Milan, Hertel was educated in
Germany, there he completed his commercial training in Cologne.
Later he graduated with an M.D. in Economics at the Free
University of Berlin. Hertel pursued a career in marketing with
several global enterprises before establishing an independent
agency during the early 80´s. He first served as an agent in the
plastics industry when he undertook to represent an American
injection foam moulding company. Since 1986 Hertel has been a
representative for Caccia Rotational Moulding in Germany, and
later the thermoforming company, Rigogroup,. Dr Gareth McDowell,
493K's Managing Director explained that Hertel's worldwide
expertise will bring a fresh insight as 493K continues to expand.
He commented: "Not only does 493K expect to benefit from
Hertel's experience in the German rotomoulding market, but we
anticipate a wider dividend from his exposure to the global
plastics industry." |
